New Boats & Pontoons at Outlet Recreation
Every new boat in stock at Outlet Recreation’s Fargo, Detroit Lakes, and Clearwater stores is on this page, current model years with full factory warranty, the latest floorplans and features, and the choice of options that only a new unit offers.
New boats and pontoons qualify for the longest financing terms and the lowest rates, and manufacturer incentives change through the season, so the price on the listing is the place to start, not the last word. Use the Get Best Deal button on any unit for a current quote from the store that has it.

Pontoons, fishing boats, and trailers
The marine category groups pontoons and tritoons, aluminum and fiberglass fishing boats, runabouts and deck boats, and the boat trailers to haul them. Pontoons dominate the lineup because they suit how most families use a Minnesota or North Dakota lake: room for a crowd, a shallow draft for sandbars, and plenty of storage. Fishing boats are mostly deep-V aluminum hulls from brands built for walleye water.
- Pontoons and tritoons: cruising, swimming, and tubing with the whole family; a third tube adds speed and handling for watersports.
- Aluminum fishing boats: light enough for a mid-size tow vehicle, tough enough for rocky launches and windblown lakes.
- Fiberglass runabouts and deck boats: quieter, smoother rides for skiing, surfing, and day cruising.
- Boat trailers: bunk and roller trailers sized for the hulls we sell.
Choosing a boat for lakes country
Think about your home lake first. Big, open water like Detroit Lake, Pelican Lake, or Lake Minnetonka rewards a tritoon or a deeper hull and more horsepower; smaller lakes and slow-no-wake bays are perfectly served by a two-tube pontoon with a mid-range outboard. Fishing-first buyers should look at layout details, livewell size, rod storage, a bow-mount trolling motor plug, and the console style, before horsepower.
Every boat is priced by unit and most include the trailer; check the listing details or ask the store. Seasonal boat storage with shrink wrap is available, so you do not need a heated garage to own a boat here.
Why buy from Outlet Recreation
Outlet Recreation has been locally owned and operated since 2007, when the first store opened in Fargo, North Dakota. Today there are three stores (Fargo, ND (492 36th St SW), Detroit Lakes, MN (605 Highway 10 E), and Clearwater, MN (2088 202nd Street East)), and every unit on this page is on one of those lots, with the store named on each listing so you know exactly where to see it.
Buying here means one stop for the whole ownership cycle: financing through multiple lenders (including a no-SSN pre-qualification that does not affect your credit score), trade-in appraisals on RVs, boats, pontoons, and fish houses, factory-trained service across 32 bays, genuine parts and accessories, seasonal storage, and RV, boat, and pontoon rentals if you want to try the lifestyle before you commit.
Financing and trade-ins
Every store can finance your purchase. Start with the payment calculator to see what a price, down payment, term, and rate work out to per month, then apply through the Financing page or pre-qualify with no Social Security number and no impact to your credit score. Our finance team works with multiple lenders to fit different credit profiles and budgets.

Frequently asked questions
Do new boats and pontoons come with a warranty?
Yes. New units carry the manufacturer’s factory warranty, and extended service plans are available through the finance office at delivery.
Can I order a new boat that is not in stock?
Yes. If the floorplan or configuration you want is not on the lot, any of the three stores can quote a factory order from the brands we carry.
Do your boats come with a trailer?
Most new pontoons and fishing boats are sold as boat, motor, and trailer packages; used boats vary. Each listing’s details and options note whether a trailer is included, and the store can quote a matched trailer if it is not.
Pontoon or tritoon: which should I buy?
A two-tube pontoon is the better value for cruising, swimming, and fishing on small to mid-size lakes. A tritoon (three tubes) carries more horsepower, handles chop better, and pulls tubes and skiers with authority, which makes it the choice for big open water like Detroit Lake or Pelican Lake.
Where is Outlet Recreation located?
Outlet Recreation has three stores: 492 36th St SW, Fargo, ND 58103; 605 Highway 10 E, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501; and 2088 202nd Street East, Clearwater, MN 55320. Each listing on this page names the store where that unit is parked.
Does Outlet Recreation offer financing?
Yes. All three stores finance RVs, boats, pontoons, fish houses, and golf carts through multiple lenders. You can pre-qualify online with no Social Security number and no impact to your credit score, or use the payment calculator to estimate a monthly payment before you apply.
Can I trade in my current unit?
Yes. Outlet Recreation accepts trade-ins on RVs, boats, pontoons, fish houses, and trailers. Submit the Value My Trade form or bring the unit to any store for an appraisal, and the value is applied toward your purchase.
